It's All About the Dance!

Dance is a powerful and compelling communication technique used by humans since we came to be. It has evolved throughout history and is used to celebrate, mourn, connect, communicate, and express.

Augustine celebrates dance as a profound expression of being human: It lifts us above the weight of life and brings us together into joyful unity.


When we dance—whether formally, socially, or simply moving with music—we momentarily transcend ourselves. The body, instead of being a weight, becomes a vehicle of joy, “light,” and freedom.


Are you facing moments that bring you down and render you with a feeling of helplessness? If so, remember, it's all about the dance. So, Turn on the music, lift yourself up and dance your way to a better place.


As you shake off the weight of the world and step into your own rhythm, keep these five uplifting reminders close to heart:


Do what your makes your heart sing. Do you look forward to getting up every morning and going to work? If not, find a new career – period.


Avoid negative energy. Surround yourself with positive people. Avoid toxic people and make no apologies.


Never give up. If at first you don’t succeed try, try again. It’s never too late for a do-over.


Choose happiness. Happy people are nicer people. Be happy.
